Privacy Policy

Your account

Camcin stores your username, email address and a hash of your password. Your password is not stored as plain text.

Your listings

Published society pages, films, events, adverts and people’s profiles are public. Drafts and submissions awaiting review are visible to their authors, authorised film and society admins, and moderators.

Camcin also stores the content you submit and the dates it was created or updated. An account’s email address is not shown in the public directory unless it is included in a listing.

Cookies

Camcin uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and protect forms. Login attempts are limited to prevent repeated password guessing. Temporary attempt counts are stored without the username or IP address in plain text. It does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
